Anonymous asked: I'm so frustrated. I've been dancing for five years and I still don't have flexibility down. Right when it started comic to me about three months ago, I pulled my hamstring on my left leg. Like the fact that I am so tight and inflexible brings me down. Like it's such a struggle for me. It makes me feel like such a shitty dancer in videos when my tilt looks so low and it was so painful and difficult to get it to that height. HELP.

How many times a week  day do you stretch? To see a serious improvement in your flexibility you must at least do some serious stretching 3 out of 7 days - but once a day is best.

Don’t feel like a shitty dancer, when you feel that way you’ll dance that way. Flexibility isn’t the most needed thing in dance. I believe passion tops the list. If you dance with heart it will improve your dancing so much more.

Start channelling you frustration into something productive and push yourself to do something about it. Start stretching again, get back into your old routine. Feeling bad for yourself will get you no where!

Dance with heart, not with flexibility ;)
