Anonymous asked: hi i was just wondering if you could name the type of dance thare used for the shoes on your theme i know tap, ____, ballet, ____, ___
Okay, the second shoe I would say is hip-hop/street/krumping/i’m-not-quite-sure-what-else. The fourth is jazz and fifth one is Irish dance :)!
(Might I add, having this tumblr and talking to you all has made me so much more educated about dance! I’ve been exposed to so many different styles, different solutions to problems, tricks and gained so much knowledge, it’s amazing!)
Anonymous asked: what are your opinions on irish dance? just curious xx
It looks absolutely fascinating! I don’t think Irish dancers receive enough credit (well dancers in general don’t receive enough credit). I have a studio that teaches it in my local area, and as soon as I have enough money I’m going to start taking weekly classes :)
Anonymous asked: Great blog! More posts specific to ballroom dancing (both standard and latin), though? (: This might be a dance blog in general but I do notice that there are more ballet-specific (and its variations) posts than anything else, and seemingly general technique for one does not necessarily apply to another genre (like turning out and jazz and standard ballroom). More love for other kinds of dances please!
Hey! Thank you :)
My submission box is always open, if you would like some ballroom dancing posts, you are free to submit them :)
Anonymous asked: hey! love your blog! just wonder if you have a personal tumblr or twitter or facebook that i can add you on?
